Transmission shields are made to help shield the driver and surrounding from clutch/tranny parts in the event of a clutch/transmission failure. Also known as a scattershield, it is a small investment for the safety you get in return.

Made for any honda/acura vehicles equipped with a B series transmission. CRV, B series, H2B, F2B, D2B and K series (see options). 
 
Required for any vehicle running 11.49 or quicker at the 1/4th mile.
